Stratus Services is currently seeking a Systems & Network Engineer to join our team, which boasts a high degree of project agility and effective multitasking. We are looking for a professional with Level III expertise who is eager to take on new work & help other staff & customers.
As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and contract IT support company, we specialize in providing outsourced support for virtual servers, network infrastructure, security, desktop systems, and helpdesk services. Our team has extensive experience in deploying cutting-edge technologies, multi-vendor solutions focusing on VDI, storage networks, VMware, and Microsoft products. We also have a burgeoning CMMC division that has a lot of potential for growth and new opportunities.
The ideal candidate posses the following skills:
We are seeking candidates with 3-4 years of direct hands-on experience in current platforms and products that give you a solid foothold and knowledge stack to be able to fully back up the current senior staff. The ability to independently take over the responsibility of a project with minimum support is valuable to our organization. Of course, experience in VMWare & HyperV standups, VM servers, networking, servers, Storage vendors, Windows Server 2012/2022 would be excellent. You should have direct tier 2-3 experience, where others see you as “the person to get the job done”.
You must already BE in the Anchorage area& should possess a satisfactory driving record. This role predominantly involves on-site work with clients, with minimal opportunities for remote work. We are open to discussing possibilities.

We work a 40-hour work week. Typically, work is conducted at customer’s facilities or from our own offices, on occasion individuals may work from other approved locations such as a home office. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. On occasion, emergency after-hours support for our customers will be required as needed. Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00/yr, based on skill set and experience

Work Location: In person; Anchorage, AK
Stratus Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a Level III & higher expert who is eager to take on new projects, help other staff members, and provide support to customers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with complex networking, VLANs, multiple locations, hosts, storage vendors, Windows Server 2012–2022, Azure/Entra/hybrid, complex server and engineering backgrounds, CAD support, heavy security-based positions, and company-wide support. Recognized by team members as the go-to individual when others cannot resolve the issue is also an asset.
Additionally, Stratus has a burgeoning CMMC division that has a lot of potential for growth and new opportunities. If you have NIST 800-171 or other compliance frameworks experience, please provide this information in your written statement or resume.

Ability to reliably commute: Candidate will need to be in Anchorage area before Stratus can interview them for this position. We are looking for boots on the ground, living in the Anchorage area.
